About

Ladies of the Oracle (LOTO) is a 108-year-old women’s organization based in the United States.
LOTO is a satirical order and often described as a “fraternal playground” promoting “mirth and clean fun.”
We are “the world’s only first wave feminist fez order,” founded by wacky women in 1915.
Our customs are rooted in the idea of “mystical kitsch from fabled lands” and we offer a space for those who appreciate the unconventional, quirky, and offbeat.
Our charitable efforts historically focused on fundraising and hosting community events. We continue to a variety of charitable initiatives.
Join LOTO
LOTO accepts applications from those who are over 18, female, nonbinary, or identify as feminine.
We are neutral with respect to political and religious affiliations and celebrate diversity.
We are independent and not affiliated with any other fraternal order. Prospective members do not need to be members of another order.
We use a “Pay What You Can” approach to annual membership dues: $10; $20; $40; $Other.
Get involved through creative, organizational, charitable, and social activities and help preserve a cultural artifact that celebrates unconventional women while fostering friendships and fun.
Email us or chat with us to join.
